Aaron had been looking for a job for quite a while prior to coming into Do-All, Inc. services and had become frustrated with the process of submitting applications and not hearing back from employers.

“My case manager told me about Do-All, Inc. and that they’d be able to help me get back on track and find a job that I would enjoy. He said you (Job Development Specialist) were good at your job and that’s the kind of company I needed”.

He was referred to Do-All, Inc. and quickly hit the ground running, meeting with his Job Development Specialist weekly to meet with employers & submit applications.

When asked about his experience working with Do-All, Inc. Aaron says, “The experience has been straightforward. We started on the vocational profile, then my Job Development Specialist helped me build a resume and then they reached out to their network. They helped me rehearse how to approach an employer and my Job Development Specialist stayed calm when I became frustrated with the process of not hearing back from employers. My Job Development Specialist was patient, helpful, and understanding and that’s what I needed.

Within a couple of months, Aaron obtained employment at ATS Printing in Bay City, MI.

“My Job Development Specialist helped me talk to employers and support me when I need help. She even follows up with me after I got the job and that’s been cool because I get to celebrate my work accomplishments”.

Aaron wanted to work to pay off some obligations and start a road to success. “...and now I feel like I can be myself and both my bosses tell me all the time what a good job I’m doing. I’m learning all about all the different presses and helping to train new employees. That makes me feel more responsible and I like this feeling, that they trust me and can count on me.

I now have a phone that works, I’m able to pay on my bills now. I stay busy and I like that. I look forward to my paycheck every two weeks. I’m able to pitch in for bills at home and that feels good. Mom and Dad really like it too. I just got a raise! This makes me feel like I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing.”
